Tonight was the night to give the "speech" of my personal journey with breast cancer. It was a nice dinner event with about 140 people in attendance. A little larger crowd than I'd hoped I would have to speak in front of, haha ... but a nice event.
Next we'll take part in the Pekin Relay for Life on Friday night, and Drew will be the vocalist for the songs during the survivor ceremony. It's sure to be an emotional night, but I'm looking forward to the walk, being there with family, and the beautiful glow of the luminaries reflecting on the water.
